April sees Deathline play gigs in two different worlds, the real one and the virtual. But first of all there's unfinished voting type business in March...
Voting for the Indy Music Awards, which "highlights the very best in emerging live music", closes today (31 March 008). Please cast your vote if you haven't already. It takes but a second and means a lot to us!
Visit the voting page here and click "VOTE" once you've located our profile
If you have the voting bug, why not head over to XFM Uploaded and vote for us there as well? You know it makes sense!
We couldn't decide which world we wanted to play live in this month so we decided to do two. April kicks off on Saturday 5th at virtual world Second Life's new I-World Island, where we play as part of the I-World Music Festival. Come and watch our avatars strut their stuff while we play our first virtual set since last August.
We then get all physical at Rock Lands, New Cross Inn, two weeks later on Saturday 19th. This is one of our fave venues and we're joined by an amazing line up including Obvious Books, GST Cardinals, and Mr Nathan Doom from Twisted Charm on DJ duties. This will be a rocktastic night so see you there!
Jennie and Kaoru have been locked for most of March in a dark dungeon, being fed crumbs by Deathline's sadistic new Rock Manager™ "Miss M". But the result has been a spanking set of new songs, the first of which, "Tesko Disko", has been uploaded as a rough demo to their MySpace and Facebook pages. Let us know what you think please.
The new songs will start to be aired at forthcoming gigs.
Check out the smell of Deathline at our Facebook, or our MySpace and visit Deathline's home in Second Life! Deathline are now also available at last.fm. There's a free MP3 download of "I Cannot See" at Artrocker.com.
Bang! You're dead.
