Our last gig of the year is at the launch night of Danny Grave's Cult Club in Dalston, next Friday 26th November. We had a few dates pencilled in in December but they all fell on inconvenient dates, so consider this our "festive" gig. Ho. And ho.
Great line-up for this one. Headlining are the our friends, the brilliant Dead Rabbits from Southampton, who are guaranteed for fans of space noise drone rock with a bluesy edge. Think Brian Jonestown Massacre fighting it out with Spacemen 3 in The Jesus and Mary Chain's front room
We're road testing new songs from our forthcoming, untiltled second album at these gigs, as well as a few faves from the old set. Demos are going up on this Soundcloud set. Check them out.

"Club L'endeavour sound like a group of balkan gypsies lost in Clapham Junction, singing songs about football tops, vodka shots and confrontations with your fellow man"

"That stylish man-about-town you keep seeing around London is one Darron J Connett. Over the past couple of years his live show has been much in-demand.
"Now things have developed fast for him over the past few months. A new band line-up has seen him trading as Connett, and his shift from acoustic outings to a full-band seems to have paid off, as it's a musical step up from before. The classic rock and power-pop influences are still there, but much more besides." - ModCulture.com

"It was a sad day when London lost original 100mph piked artrockers The Electric Shocks but at least we got two cool new bands out of the split.
Kaoru and Jennie pulled together their guitar and bass duties and drafted in a ferocious drum machine to complete the rock'n'roll economy of a power duo.
Kaoru's distinctive fuzz-tone guitars now complemented by Jennie's dead-pan noir vocal deliver a garage-punk pop with shades of Jesus and MaryChain, Ravonettes and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Abrasive energy and tunes, a winning combination." -Artrocker
JD Smith

Everbody deserves a little rockabilly in their lives...and if twang's your thang, Mr Smiths got it in buckets.
From the lowdown, honest-to-goodness stomp of 'This Violent Heart' and 'Kicking Machine' to the tender strumming of 'Time', JD Smith's take on old-fashioned rock and blues is charming and toe-tappin', delivered with a directness and honesty that tips it's hat to the spirit of Charlie Feathers and other long-gone knee-tremblers." -Bizarre Magazine
Recorded by Simon Murphy at The Gaff in April this year, this live bootleg EP can be downloaded free from our Soundcloud and features highlights from the SixtyNine album plus a cover of Iggy Pop's Funtime.
